Road, Orlando. On 3/21/13 Station Manager, Michele Bastone spoke to students at Full SailUniversity about the different positions that are available at a radio station. Full SailUniversity is located 300 University Boulevard, Winter Park. On 4/17/13 Station Manager,Michele Bastone spoke to students at Stetson University about career opportunities in theradio industry. Stetson University is located at 421 N. Woodland Boulevard, DeLand. On8/29/13 Station Manager, Michele Bastone spoke to Everest University about employmentopportunities at a radio station. Everest University is located at 9200 South Park CenterLoop, Orlando.Station Manager, Michele Bastone hosted mentoring sessions with three college studentsthroughout the year at the office of Radio Disney located at 610 Sycamore Street, Suite 220,Celebration. The first student was from Full Sail University, which is a local University thatoffers degrees in Television, Film, Media and Radio. The second and third students were fromthe University of Central Florida which is located at 4000 Central FL Boulevard, Orlando.Michele sat down with the students and helped them develop a career plan and structured abusiness model so they will be able to gain employment in the marketplace after graduation.The station had an intern, Giovanni Tevenal, from 5/28/13 though 8/15/13. He was astudent at The University of Maine, Orono. During his time at the station he worked in thepromotions department participating in station events, coordinating, in the sales departmentwhere he learned how to find potential clients and how to talk to them about Radio Disney andcreated a marketing email for the stations Account Executives to showcase the station. This wasa paid internship.The Station seeks to regularly assess and improve recruitment methods and sources byanalyzing their individual effectiveness and making changes as appropriate.180
