<str<strong>on</strong>g>Minutes</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the seventy third <str<strong>on</strong>g>meeting</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, <strong>West</strong><strong>Bengal</strong> held <strong>on</strong> <strong>30.11.2012</strong> at 11:00 hrs. at the C<strong>on</strong>ference Room, Paribesh Bhawan, Salt Lake.___________________________________________________________________be distributed for next 5 days. Therefore daily avg. water availability for 5 days is =168+336/5 = 235KL approx. Balance water requirement <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> 267­235=32 KLD which are expecting to be available fromK.M.C supply very so<strong>on</strong>.The case was put up for rec<strong>on</strong>siderati<strong>on</strong> in the 73 rd <str<strong>on</strong>g>SEAC</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>meeting</str<strong>on</strong>g> held <strong>on</strong> <strong>30.11.2012</strong>. Afterscrutinizing the documents submitted by the unit, the committee recommended that ­1. As the proposed site is just adjacent to the East Kolkata Wetlands area, the project prop<strong>on</strong>entis requested to submit the details in which distance between the proposed project and EastKolkata Wetland area boundary is correctly menti<strong>on</strong>ed.2. East Kolkata Wetland is an extremely important wetlands from ecological and bio­diversitypoint <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> view. C<strong>on</strong>structi<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> such tall building is like to have adverse effects <strong>on</strong> migrati<strong>on</strong><str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> bird species . Detail study regarding impact <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the proposed project <strong>on</strong> the migrati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>bird species, fauna to be carried out by an institute <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> repute like Wildlife Institute <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> India(WII), Bombay Natural History Society and report to be submitted before the <str<strong>on</strong>g>SEAC</str<strong>on</strong>g>.3. It is noted that there is shortfall in fresh water supply compared to actual demand. ProjectProp<strong>on</strong>ent is requested to provide specific clarificati<strong>on</strong>s to meet up the shortfall.It has been decided that the case shall be further c<strong>on</strong>sidered <strong>on</strong>ly after submissi<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the necessaryclarificati<strong>on</strong>.6.
