<strong>Minutes</strong> <strong>of</strong> the seventy third <strong>meeting</strong> <strong>of</strong> the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, WestBengal held on 30.11.2012 at 11:00 hrs. at the Conference Room, Paribesh Bhawan, Salt Lake.___________________________________________________________________Recommendations / Directions <strong>of</strong> the Committeeissued on 10.08.20121. In the subsequent response<strong>of</strong> the unit submitted on 10.09.2012 the project proponent has mentioned that M/s. M. L. Dalmiya &Co. Ltd. has already given permission vide letter under Ref. No. L/40/ITPark/67 dated 03.08.2011.During the 69 th <strong>meeting</strong> held on 25.07.2012 the <strong>SEAC</strong> had directed the PP to submit the details <strong>of</strong>solid waste management plan. The PP has submitted that adequate storing facilities shall be made forstoring solid waste by providing collection and storage bins. The solid waste will be segregated atsource and stored into separate collection bins. The PP has undertaken to dispose <strong>of</strong>f Municipal SolidWaste generated through an agency having valid authorization from WBPCB for collection anddisposal <strong>of</strong> MSW. The agreement with such appropriate agency will be made once the operation startsand agency is appointed.PP has also undertaken that all Electronic Waste generated shall be disposed <strong>of</strong>f as per EWasteManagement & Handling Rules, 2011. They also mentioned that this is an IT InfrastructureDevelopment, where in the waste generation will be very minimal.The letter submitted on 10.09.2012 by the project proponent was considered in the 71 st <strong>meeting</strong> heldon 24.09.2012 and the committee has requested the project proponent to submit the specific proposalregarding management <strong>of</strong> solid waste. Source and availability <strong>of</strong> fresh water as sought by thecommittee vide earlier letter dated 10.08.2012 should also submitted.Page 9 <strong>of</strong> 50
