(Pakistan <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong> <strong>Authority</strong>)DCP <strong>Manual</strong>Criterion for the nomination of different categories of DCP shall be asfollows:(a) for the nomination of any type of DCP, an applicant shall have fulfilledthe requirements as laid down in the <strong>Authority</strong> approved manual of thecompany and must have previous experience of minimum 100:00Training hours on type as a Training <strong>Pilot</strong> of a commercial air operator.(b) for the nomination of DCP Type A, an applicant shall have previousexperience as on-type DCP Type B.2.1.1 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSThe DCP Type A Nominee, in addition to Para 2.1 (a) and (b), shall:a) hold a valid ATPL with a valid Instrument Rating endorsed for type as<strong>Pilot</strong>-in-command which would allow the applicant to fly commercially onthe same type of aircraft as requested in the application for checkingprivileges ;b) have as much flight hours as possible but not less than 1,000 flight hoursas <strong>Pilot</strong>-in-Command;c) demonstrate flying proficiency on the type to which the nominee seekschecking authority;d) have been employed as <strong>Pilot</strong>-in-Command in the same type ofcommercial operation for which testing/checking authority is sought ;and,e) demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of the contents and interpretation ofthe following publications ;1. <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong> Requirements/Rules and Air NavigationOrders/Equivalent Documents etc of Pakistan <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong><strong>Authority</strong>;2. International <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong> Requirements/Standards3. <strong>Designated</strong> DCP <strong>Manual</strong> issued by the <strong>Authority</strong>4. Personnel Licensing Procedures of Pakistan <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong><strong>Authority</strong> and International Standards.5. ICAO SARPS contained in the Annex 6 regarding pilot proficiencyrequirements, training, and recency.1 st Edition Page 12 of 80 May, 2011f) demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Air Operator’s Operations<strong>Manual</strong>, Air Operator Certificate and associated OperatingSpecifications, SOPs and applicable Aircraft Flight and Flight CrewOperating <strong>Manual</strong>s ;
