Complaints and Appeals4.8 AIR OPERATOR RECORDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES4.8.1 It is the Air Operator's responsibility to ensure a DCP's authority is validbefore scheduling him/her to conduct a Flight <strong>Check</strong>. To aid in thisresponsibility, an Air Operator shall maintain records to show:a) the last date in which a DCP Type A and/or Type B had his/her PPCrenewed/monitored by an Inspector;b) the last date when the DCP Type B was monitored conducting a Flight<strong>Check</strong> by an Inspector and when his/her next monitored ride is due; andc) a list of the Flight Simulator <strong>Check</strong>s and a copy of all line checksconducted by the DCPs.4.8.2 It is the Operator's responsibility to submit to Pakistan <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong><strong>Authority</strong>, a monthly schedule of proposed flight checks to be conducted.The list should be submitted to arrive at least seven (7) days prior to the firstscheduled check. Unless another method is approved, form (Appendix "D")is to be used.4.8.3 Where a DCP's PPC renewal or monitored ride becomes due, during theperiod covered by the monthly schedule, it should be so noted by the AirOperator on the form submitted, (Appendix "D") and an advance bookingconfirmed with Pakistan <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong> <strong>Authority</strong>.1 st Edition Page 21of 80 June, 20094.8.4 If a delay or problem is anticipated by the Air Operator in arranging either aPPC or monitored ride of a DCP prior to the expiry date, contact should bemade at once by telephone with Pakistan <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong> <strong>Authority</strong> to makealternate arrangements.4.8.5 The original of all company-conducted checks which are recorded on formsshall be submitted to Pakistan <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong> <strong>Authority</strong> as soon aspracticable after the flight check is completed.
