STP 10-92A34-SM-TGChapter 4Duty Position Tasks1. MOSC 92A30. Assigns duties, instructs, and supervises subordinates in proper work techniques andprocedures. Plans and analyzes operational data and reports to ascertain degree of conformity withestablished policies, work standards, and procedural directives. Supervises preparation of materialcontrol and accounting input for data processing and reviews output documents. Inspects and evaluatesinventory management activities. Directs supply personnel in establishment and maintenance of supplyand inventory control management functions. Analyzes statistical data to determine effectiveness oftechnical edit. Reconciles problems in automated supply accounting system. Computes, establishes, anddirects modification to authorized stock levels. Plans and organizes receipt, issue, salvage, andmaintenance of records for all classes of supply except Class III (Bulk), Class V, and Class VIII. Ensurescompliance with current regulation and directives pertaining to financial inventory, accounting, and stockfunding. Determines current and projected repair requirements. Directs lateral redistribution of stock.Performs supervisory duties shown in proceeding levels of skill. Prepares and updates warehouseplanographs. Conducts inspection of activities to ensure compliance with standards of serviceability,reclamation, salvage, and disposal procedures. Conducts warehousing surveillance and inspections.Prepares reports on personnel and equipment availability, storage space, relocation of material, andwarehouse denials. Serves as warehouse foreman, chief accountant, store managers, and commissaryofficer. Interviews, hires, and dismisses employees in accordance with Common Operating Picture (COP)and commissary regulation. Establishes issue schedules and procedures.2. MOSC 92A40. Performs supervisory duties shown in proceeding level or skills. Conducts inspectionsand provides technical assistance to storage activities. Assists in development and preparation ofoperations information including plans, maps, sketches, overlays, and other data related to supplyorganization employment. Performs liaison and staff duties in a supply and maintenance activity or in acommand and staff logistics activity. Analyzes operations statistical data and reports to ascertainfunctional trends, conformance to standards and directives, and efficiency of operations. Reviewsmaterial receipt and off-line document processing procedure. Responsible for the requisition,accountability, wholesomeness, and the safe storage of subsistence items for division size elements andlarger. Plans and writes Letter of Instructions (LOIs) for subsistence support for major field exercises.Works with and advises installation food service and installation menu board. Interprets and usescommand and continental United States (CONUS) annual food plans. Ensure compliance with directivesrelated to subsistence supply storage and distribution operations, including world wide operations.Manages the operation of a troop issue subsistence activity.3.
