Part A — Getting Started 19MP36/MP35 supportThe MP36/MP35 is a four-channel data acquisition unit designed to work with BSL PRO. BSL PRO supportfor the MP36/MP35 unit includes:• Standard data acquisition and data acquisition features (triggering, multiple channels, variablesampling rate, input values)• Output control functionality for controlling stimulators, digital channel, and channel redirection tooutput.• Standard analog presets for all SS series transducers• Electrode Check support• Control channel support for changing digital output lines based on calculation channel analysisMP3x NotesThe computer sleep mode should be disabled—if the computer goes to sleep while BSL PROis running, communication with the MP36 may be lost and the application may freeze. Toprevent this from occurring, modify the computer settings to prevent the computer fromgoing to sleep.• If sleep mode is enabled and causes theapplication to freeze, force quit the applicationand ‘power cycle’ the MP unit to re-establishcommunication.• During an unresponsive period, the ‘ConnectHardware’ dialog may display odd charactersin place of the MP serial number or thecomputer, upon waking up, may generatea“Driver irql not less or equal” error dialog.Mac OS users: Connect the MP3x directly to the computer, do not connect MP36 via hub orkeyboard.MP System RequirementsSuggested minimum system requirements are detailed below. Recommendations are included to optimizesystem performance; more memory and a faster system will enhance MP System (MP36, MP35 or MP45)performance. Like the MP36/MP35, theMP45 connects via the USB port but uses the computer’s audio card as a signal processing source.
