218 <strong>BSL</strong> <strong>PRO</strong> <strong>Manual</strong>SaveThis menu command will save any changes made to a file. If more than one file is open, this command onlyapplies to the active window. For untitled files, you will be prompted to name the file you wish the data to besaved in. The file will remain open after you have saved it, allowing you to continue working. The Save menu is dynamic and corresponds to the type of file you are trying to save, i.e. SaveGraph, Save Journal.Files should be less than 2 GB, except <strong>BSL</strong> 3 “Graph” files on the Mac, which can be larger if notcompressed. Data files greater than 2GB can be opened, but edit, transformation and analysis operationcannot be performed.To save data in another format (such as a text file), use File > Save As.Save AsChoosing File > Save As produces a standard dialog that allows youto save data in a variety of different formats and to any location. Aswith all save last dialogs, you can use this to save a file to a differentfile name or directory than the default settings.Visit the online support center at www.biopac.com
