5using the meter as a diaryTransferring results as a tableThe meter can transfer the results to a computerwithout any special hardware or software. The onlyprerequisite is that the computer has an infrared windowaccording to the IrdA standard (Infrared dataAssociation).The results are transferred as a CSV file. The file extensionCSV in this case stands for Comma SeparatedValues.CSV files can be opened with a text editor or spreadsheetprogram, for example.Where you find the CSV file on your computer dependson the settings in your operating system for wirelesstransmission of files via the infrared window.The CSV file always contains all the results saved inyour meter. Results already transferred at an earlierdate are transferred again.The CSV file contains the following information: Serial number: the serial number of the meter Download Date (DD.MM.YYYY), Download Time(hh:mm): the date and time when the meter transferredthe results to the computer. date (dd.MM.yyyy), time (hh:mm), result and unit ofthe results saved in the meter. Flags added to the results, indicated by an “x”.The data (date, time, test result etc.) in this CSV file isseparated by semicolon.In the CSV file, the date is always displayed in theformat dd.MM.yyyy and the time always in the 24-hour format (hh:mm). The time format set in the meterhas no influence on the format of the date and time inthe CSV file.160
