Checking the meter 73 Twist the cap off the applicator. Be careful not tosqueeze the applicator too hard while doing this soas to not lose any control solution.4 Hold the applicator at a slight angle with the brushpointing downwards.5 Squeeze the applicator gently until you see a smalldrop appear at the end of the brush.6 Then stop squeezing.The drop will then be absorbed back into the brush.The brush is now ready to use.you can hold the meter in your hand or lay it downwhile you apply control solution to the test area.do not hold the meter with the test area pointingupwards. If you hold the meter with the test areapointing upwards, control solution could enterthe meter and soil it.179
