8 Tools menu8 Tools menuThe Tools menu on the one hand offers you some extrameans of checking the meter. on the other hand, youmust also use this menu to prepare for cleaning themeter and changing a test cassette that has not beenused up.The following options are available in the Tools menu: Main menu: takes you to the Main menu Display check: perform a separate display check(see Chapter 9) Validity: displays the validity of the test cassette (seeChapter 10) Clean: prepare the meter for cleaning (see Chapter11) Change cass.: prepare the meter for removing a testcassette which still has unused test areas (seeChapter 12)188
Performing a display check 99Performing a display checkIf you wish to check whether the display is workingproperly, in addition to turning on the meter, you canalso do this via the display check in the Tools menu.
