The relations of Urvasieand Pururavas are true to this psychological principle. Sheherself is mere beauty and charm sufficient to itself and commandingdelight and worship because she is herself, not becauseof any graces of expression, imagination, intellectual profundity.But the mind of Pururavas receiving her pure and perfect imagesteeps her in its own fire and colour, surrounding her with a haloof pomp and glory which reveals himself while seeking to interprether.
