This isdescribed in the “Basics” chapter of the manual.How to create a programTo create a program, either copy an existing program and modify it,or start a new one:1. Load in from disk the sounds you intend to use in the program.2. If you want to change the note number assignments for any of thepads, press the MIDI key and select option 1.3. For each pad you want to assign to a sound, select that pad’s notenumber in the “Select Programs, Assign Sounds” screen andassign it to the desired sound and sound assignment mode. Thisscreen is accessed by pressing the PROGRAM/SOUNDS key andselecting option 1.4. If desired, modify the default settings for envelope, velocitymodulation, tuning, poly mode, cutoff assignments, or filtersettings. These are accessed by selecting options 2 or 3 from thePROGRAM/SOUNDS key menu.5. If desired, adjust the stereo or individual output/effect mixes oradd effects by pressing the MIXER/EFFECTS key and selectingthe appropriate option.Page 118
