Chapter 9: Saving to and Loading from Disk• The Free field:This shows the amount of free space on the selected disk.COMMENT: The <strong>MPC</strong><strong>3000</strong> will allow large programs to besaved onto multiple disks. If the total size of the PGM fileand its sound files exceeds the free space on the insertedfloppy disk, a warning will appear on the screen, informingyou how many disks will be needed. The <strong>MPC</strong><strong>3000</strong> will savethe PGM file and as many sound files as will fit onto the firstdisk. Then, it will present a screen asking you to insertanother disk and will save as many sound files as will fitonto that disk. This process will continue until all files havebeen saved. To load this program file later, simply load thePGM file—it will load along with the sound files from thefirst disk, then a screen will appear asking you to insert theother disks, one by one, in order to load the remaining soundfiles.• The soft key:Press this key to save to disk the program file and each individualsound file used in the program.• The soft key:This soft key has the same function as in the Save Sequence screendescribed above.Saving an APS File (All Programs and Sounds)To save all programs and all sounds in memory, select 5 (Allprograms) from the DISK key menu.
