Students will be introducedto the Statistical Package for the SocialSciences (SPSS) software.Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 1021with a grade of “C” or higher; assessmentscore placement in MATH 1025 or above, orcompletion of MATH 0070 with a grade of “C”or higher; or consent of instructor.Research Methods for the SocialSciencesSOC 2993 4 CreditsThis sociology course is one of two intendedto prepare students to gather and analyzesocial and behavioral science data. It willintroduce the methods social scientists useto gain knowledge about social relationships,settings, organizations, institutions, and thelarger society.
