Yates replaced Leinart, who madehis fi rst start in place of Matt Schaub, and went8-of-15 for 70 yards in his <strong>NFL</strong> debut.Defense and special teams led the way for theTexans on a day when their offense had a seasonlow215 yards. OLB Connor Barwin had a teamrecordfour sacks, and rookie DE J.J. Watt had twomore as the Texans tied a team record with seven.Jacoby Jones averaged 16.6 yards on sevenpunt returns; CB Sherrick McManis had a seasonlong45-yard kickoff return. K Neil Rackers went2-of-2 on fi eld goals with a long of 53; and rookieP Brett Hartmann pinned the Jaguars inside their20-yard line three times.Leinart was 10-of-13 for 57 yards and a touchdown,a 20-yard pass to TE Joel Dreessen, beforehis injury.The Jaguars scored fi rst when CB AshtonYouboty returned an Arian Foster fumble 38 yardsfor a touchdown on the Texans’ second play fromscrimmage.Later in the fi rst quarter, Foster burst through themiddle of the Jaguars defense for a 43-yard run onthird-and-two from the Houston 41.
