Four different Texans offensiveplayers scored a touchdown and four different defensiveplayers forced a turnover against the Bucs,who were 3-1 at home and 4-4 overall.The Texans’ No. 1-ranked defense limited TampaBay to 231 yards, sacking QB Josh Freeman fourtimes. He had been sacked 10 times all season<strong>com</strong>ing into the game. Houston controlled the ballfor 35:06, piling up 185 yards on the ground.RB Arian Foster gashed the Bucs’ 29th-rankeddefense for 186 yards from scrimmage (84 rushing,102 receiving) and two touchdowns. All three Texansrunning backs – Foster, Ben Tate and DerrickWard – scored rushing touchdowns.Foster juked two Bucs on a 78-yard touchdowncatch-and-run in the second quarter. Yates replaced Leinart, who madehis fi rst start in place of Matt Schaub, and went8-of-15 for 70 yards in his <strong>NFL</strong> debut.Defense and special teams led the way for theTexans on a day when their offense had a seasonlow215 yards. OLB Connor Barwin had a teamrecordfour sacks, and rookie DE J.J. Watt had twomore as the Texans tied a team record with seven.Jacoby Jones averaged 16.6 yards on sevenpunt returns; CB Sherrick McManis had a seasonlong45-yard kickoff return.
