RBArian Foster ran for 111 yards and a touchdown inrookie QB T.J. Yates’ fi rst <strong>NFL</strong> start.Yates <strong>com</strong>pleted 12-of-25 passes for 188 yardsand threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to TE JoelDreessen in the second quarter. The Texans ran for162 yards against the Falcons’ second-ranked rushingdefense, which entered Week 13 allowing only83.5 rushing yards per game. Foster had 71 of hisrushing yards in the second half.Foster ran for 37 yards on the game-winning drivethat spanned from the third to the fourth quarter andlasted 19 plays and 85 yards and took 10:41 off theclock. The drive was capped by a 1-yard touchdownby Foster on second-and-goal for a 17-10 lead.The Falcons had a chance to tie the game onthe fi nal possession. They got the ball at their own33-yard line with 59 seconds left and no timeouts.QB Matt Ryan drove the Falcons to the Houston25-yard line with 16 seconds remaining and threwthree in<strong>com</strong>pletions, the last of which was defendedin the end zone by CB Kareem Jackson, to endthe game.Jackson and CB Jason Allen both picked off Ryanin the fi rst quarter. Yates threw the game-winning6-yard touchdown pass to WR Kevin Walter withtwo seconds remaining.Yates, making his second-career start and fi rston the road, went 26-of-44 for 300 yards with twotouchdowns and an interception. He saved his bestfor last, leading two 80-yard scoring drives in thefourth quarter.The last drive started at the Texans’ 20-yard linewith 2:33 left to play, down 19-13 and with no timeouts.Yates moved the Texans into the Cincinnatihalf of the fi eld and kept the drive alive on thirdand-15from the 40 with a 17-yard run up the middlefor a fi rst down. WR Jacoby Jones then drew apass interference penalty on CB Adam Jones atthe 6-yard line with 12 seconds remaining.
