CHRIST’S FAITH3knew “all the whole truth” and “nothing but the truth”from His birth.As Christ matured He fully knew the “word” of Godand was completely aware that His Father was TheOne True Powerful God (Luke 2:49-52). The Saviorhad to prove His faith or trust in His Father from thetime He was born until His death. He had to perfectlyprove His Messiahship by His works, each and everytime, otherwise He would have sinned, “And he thatdoubts is damned [condemned] if he eat [vegetarian],because he eats not of faith: for whatsoever is not offaith is sin” (Romans 14:23). Had Christ not lived byevery Word of God, He would have sinned and thencould not have been The Messiah! Wow!CHRIST’S FINAL TESTWhen Jesus was captured, Peter wanted to fight butThe Messiah told him, “Put up your sword into thesheath: the cup which my Father has given me, shall Inot drink it?” (John 18:11).Christ spent that night in prayer. Why? He even askedHis Disciples to pray with Him for a very good reason– He was human. As The Son of Man, in His flesh, Hewas tempted like the rest of mankind. Notice whatChrist said, “Father, if you be willing, remove this cupfrom me: nevertheless not my will [desires], but yours,be done” (Luke 22:42).Jesus, in the flesh, was all human but when He wasborn He had The Holy Spirit of God (II Timothy 1:7).
