This was Satan’s personal battlewith himself.CHRIST’S WILDERNESS TESTThe ultimate battle for any person (or an angel) is beingin the wilderness – without God. Jesus and Satanwere both, alone, in the wilderness and both were beingtested. Satan wanted to prove he could beat anyhuman and be The Savior of The World. After all, hewas made superior to any human born. He was “abright and morning star” already bringing the truth

He said, “if you be the Sonof God turn these stones into bread!” He tried thesame deceptive con with Jesus as he had with Eve. Hethought if he convinced Eve, he could win over Jesus.She desired the fruit of The Tree of The Knowledge ofGood and Evil. Christ was without food for 40 daysand nights and He was very hungry. Christ knew Heneeded to eat to survive. Remember, Christ was humanand not spirit. He was, indeed, tempted just likeEve. His human desire was to eat, as any hungryperson.Jesus had the biggest test humans could have. FromHis birth, His mother Mary was overshadowed byGod’s Holy Spirit, which made Jesus – Holy. WithThe Holy Spirit, He always knew the truth, concerninggood and evil (Luke 1:35). The rest of the convertedChristians only receive an earnest of God’s Spirit. Jesusalways had all the truth in full measure from birth.He always knew what was right and what was wrong.You are adopted from human parents and you werenot born with all the truth Jesus received, as The Wordof God, and given to Him by His Father. God wasJesus’ teacher. Your Savior’s answer to Satan was,“Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word ofGod” (Matthew 4:4). Do you comprehend what yourMessiah said? Christ was, truly, a Son of Man whohad perfect faith in God, His Father!
