PARABLE OF THE LOST SON45knows a part of the truth and prophecy (I Corinthians13:9). Love, fulfills all the love and not how muchknowledge, you feel you have. Your inheritance isdetermined by God and Christ through your works. Each is to be paid by the property owner’s decision, based upon what each is worth and by their individualeffort. How well you did in “the work place” is up tothe owner. The parable of the lost son describes a son who wantshis inheritance to use on his own. In this parable thefather has two sons – one is unhappy; the other is contentto live in his father’s house and take his directions. The lost son took his inheritance, misused itand ended working for a pig farmer. This lost sonrealized his great mistake, realizing he was much betteroff being in his father’s house and control. Whenhe returned, the other good son complained, who wasfaithful, because his Dad was giving a feast for the returnof his rebellious son (Luke 15:11-32).Here was the answer to the good son, “It was meet[proper] that we should make merry and be glad: forthis, you brother, was dead and is alive [saved] againand was lost and is found” (Luke 15:32).Wow! This is referring to The White Throne Judgmentand The Wedding Feast. This refers to Israelbeing lost and finally coming to repentance, “And theson said to him, Father, I have sinned against heavenand in your sight and am no more worthy to be calledyour son” (Luke 15:21). This is repentance.
