As an example, Isaiah 7:14 foretells about avirgin who has a son who would be called “Emmanuel”(a description of The Birth of Jesus) (Matthew 1:23).Even though the virgin, having a son, “Emmanuel,”meaning “God with us.” Historically, The Jews knewan Emmanuel would be born to a virgin, but theythought Jesus would be The Messiah (Isaiah 7:14).
