Whenyour heart is like God, you are ready to be taught.It will be a time when you are willing to learn as alittle child. That is why repentance is the first step.It means you are willing to have a change of mind,and you want to think like God. Only God knows atrue heart. He observes your false idols and when youare repentant, He is always ready to forgive you, andbe only too happy to help you with truthful teachingsfrom The Word of God – The Bible. The amazing realityabout God, because He loves you, is that He willalter His way of teaching each person – individually.Everyone thinks differently and therefore, God variesHis methodology of teaching. Remember, everyone isat a different level of understanding. Everyone is differentfrom everyone else. This is because everyonehas a personal “idol.”Churches and groups become too dogmatic, with theirdoctrines and teachings, to be able to reach everymember in their group. God teaches by free choiceand only commands or demands, when there is no otherway to get you to learn. This is called a covenant, butyou always have free choice to obey, or not.WHAT IS FREE CHOICE?Liberty and free choice are inseparable. You were bornin bondage (slavery) and must struggle to survive,even to the death (Romans 8). Life is a losing battle –
