Our mission is to arouse appreciation and respect for allliving creatures and the natural environment, so as to foster environmentalstewardship and inspire life-long learning through Ocean Park’s flora and fauna,facilities and programmes. Ocean Park is a fantastic educational resource andwe see it as our job to ensure that students throughout Hong Kong can benefit.OPAHK is a key player in the International Zoo Educators Association as well asthe Hong Kong environmental education field. We have always worked closelywith Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and zoo educators in the regionto develop effective programmes on wildlife education and environmentalprotection.A cornerstone of our work is our annual initiative bringing over 1,000 interactiveand compelling educational programmes to tens of thousands of schoolchildren. Our aim is to truly inspire students in a lively and fun environment.讓 教 育 帶 來 啟 迪肩 負 海 洋 公 園 教 育 使 命 的 香 港 海 洋 公 園 學 院 , 為 不 同年 齡 的 學 生 提 供 各 種 互 動 而 趣 味 盎 然 的 大 自 然 探 索 及保 育 活 學 項 目 。 我 們 的 使 命 是 透 過 海 洋 公 園 內 的 動 植物 、 設 施 及 一 系 列 活 動 , 引 領 學 生 欣 賞 大 自 然 , 學 習 尊重 生 物 和 大 自 然 環 境 , 培 育 學 生 成 為 愛 護 環 境 的 未 來 棟樑 , 並 啟 發 他 們 終 身 的 學 習 能 力 。 海 洋 公 園 教 育 資 源 豐富 , 我 們 向 以 讓 香 港 學 生 受 益 為 己 任 。 海 洋 公 園 是 國 際動 物 園 教 育 工 作 者 協 會 (International Zoo EducatorsAssociation) 的 主 要 成 員 , 一 直 以 來 積 極 參 與 香 港 的 環保 教 育 活 動 。 我 們 與 亞 洲 區 內 的 非 政 府 機 構 和 動 物 園 教育 者 合 作 , 設 計 各 種 出 色 的 動 物 與 環 境 保 護 教 育 課 程 。今 年 我 們 舉 辦 了 逾 千 項 引 人 入 勝 的 互 動 教 育 活 動 , 參 加的 學 生 數 以 萬 計 。 我 們 期 盼 憑 藉 一 個 既 生 動 , 又 富 趣 味性 的 學 習 環 境 , 為 學 生 們 帶 來 啟 迪 。
