Bashneſt JSC is a major productionand-economic
complex of the Republic
of Bashkortostan. It dates from the
year 1932. Since the beginning of fi eld
development over 260 oil fi elds have
been discovered. At present more than
160 fi elds are being developed. By now
over 1.6 billion metric tons of oil and over
84 billion cubic meters of natural and
associated gas have been produced, 86
million meters of rock have been drilled.
Over the recent years the company
has been retaining the annual oil
production amounting to 11.5 million
metric tons thus justifying its reputation
of one of the most stable Russian oil
companies. About 20% of all oil is being
produced owing to the application of the
latest EOR methods.
