Established in 1940, Ufa Metal and<br />
Plastic Products Plant Federal Stateowned<br />
Unitary Enterprise is one of Russia’s<br />
major specialized companies for<br />
developing and fabricating products for<br />
incapacitated individuals and patients<br />
with musculoskeletal impairments. All<br />
the items that are manufactured by the<br />
Plant are protected by patents on design<br />
and industrial models.<br />
On two occasions, the Plant’s products<br />
were pronounced laureates of the<br />
100 Best Products All-Russian Contest.<br />
The produce boasts gold and platinum<br />
medals from the Seal of Quality 21st<br />
Century competition, numerous decorations<br />
and distinctions from international<br />
and domestic shows of rehabilitation<br />
equipment. As decided by the Chamber<br />
of Commerce and Industry of the Russian<br />
Federation and supported by the<br />
Russian Ministry of Economic Development,<br />
the Plant, the largest manufacturer<br />
of technical products for rehabilitation,<br />
became a laureate of the major Russian<br />
National Olympus Prize in the «Manufacturing<br />
Industry. Production» category for<br />
its contribution to Russia’s historic development.
