Yangan-Tau, a unique balneal and
climatic low-hill resort capable of hosting
up to 1,000 guests at a time, is situated in
one of the Urals’ most picturesque locations
in the mountainous north-eastern
part of Bashkortostan, 413 meters above
the sea level.
Though the health resort was established
in 1937, its miraculous properties
had been known from time immemorial.
Academician and prominent
traveler Peter Simon Pallas described
Mount Yangan-Tau’s fi ery breath as early
as in 1770.
Translated from the Bashkir language,
the name of the place where Yangan-Tau
Resort emerged and became
world-famous is the «Glowing Mountain».
The Resort’s natural healing factors
include unequalled geothermal dry
and humid gases of Mount Yangantau,
Kurgazak spring mineral water, bioclimatic
resources - montane landscapes,
aqueous objects, manicured lawns of
the park, mixed forests, and vast meadow
expanses. The total annual sunshine
duration averages 1,916 hours, this index
making Yangan-Tau Resort superior to
celebrated climatic resorts of Western
Europe.
