The specialists of the center for
developing drilling tools use computer
modeling software packages to calculate
forces that are applied to every bit,
thus forecasting tools’ useful life. Modern
technologies reduce force misbalance,
thus minimizing vibration and tool
wear and tear. One of the latest accomplishments
in this area is developing a
technology for designing a line of bits
to be used as components of controlled
sets for drilling directional, slanting, and
horizontal wells.
Service support is provided by drilling
and workover engineers who possess vast
practical experience.
