Unitary Enterprise was founded in
1941.
The core business of the Enterprise
is developing, upgrading, and manufacturing
ignition systems and electronic
controls of aircraſt gas-turbine engines.
Molniya incorporates three R&D
and design departments and a manufacturing
plant. The latter’s production
capacity, manufacturing and testing
capabilities in their structure and scope
adequately correspond to the requirements
of the aircraſt market and are
suffi cient to batch-produce the whole
range of the items developed in-house.
Molniya has developed ignition systems
and electronic controls for practically
every type of aircraſt engine built in
the CIS and operated in nearly one hundred
countries of the world, as well as
for dozens of types of gas-turbine units
incorporated in gas pumping units and
gas-turbine electric power plants. The
Enterprise has elaborated and obtained
certifi cates for upgraded new-generation
ignition systems for the existing
engines and for those that are yet to
come.
