OYO-GEO Impulse International LLC<br />
was established in December 1990. It is<br />
a wholly-owned subsidiary of Geo Space<br />
(Houston, USA). Geo Space renders continuous<br />
support in developing and upgrading<br />
product lines. The Company’s<br />
core produce includes the equipment for<br />
every variety of seismic data acquisition<br />
aimed at prospecting for oil and gas and<br />
reservoir characterization. In June 1992,<br />
the Company was issued with an international<br />
certifi cate qualifying it to build the<br />
GS-20DX Geophone that is extensively<br />
used in oil prospecting.<br />
The new-generation sensors, GS-<br />
30CT and GS-32CT, have been established.<br />
These phones are among the<br />
best available in the global marketplace.<br />
Fabrication of these phones has become<br />
possible thanks to a thorough technical<br />
refurbishment of the plant accomplished<br />
in the recent years. New lines of products<br />
are being launched that include land<br />
and shallow-water towed cables for conducting<br />
seismic surveys in challenging<br />
geographies. On the drawing board are<br />
downhole tools offering a comprehensive<br />
solution for vertical seismic profi ling.
