During my trip back from the U.S.A.<br />
to visit relatives in Taiwan last year, I came<br />
upon a booklet entitled Words of Wisdom.<br />
The volume is small and thin, but amazingly<br />
its contents are profound statements made<br />
by sages of antiquity and modern times<br />
concerning how to deal with life’s problems.<br />
It is quite an inspiring book.<br />
In today’s world, moral standards<br />
are increasingly deteriorated. More and<br />
more people are opportunistic and have<br />
an extravagant lifestyle. Money and fame<br />
are the main concerns and material gain<br />
is the goal pursued in most people’s lives.
