<strong>Spice</strong>Jet won award for Best Employee<br />
Engagement<br />
At the 4th DMA-Thomas Associates National Award for<br />
Excellence in Talent Management, <strong>Spice</strong>Jet was awarded for<br />
Best Employee Engagement out of 104 corporates. The award<br />
was presented by Sundara Rajan, Founder & Director, Thomas<br />
Assessments; Rajan Pandhi, Director, DMA; and Yogesh Misra,<br />
Vice-President, Thomas Assessments.<br />
<strong>Spice</strong>Jet sponsored travel for educational<br />
tour of J&K girls<br />
<strong>Spice</strong>Jet facilitated the travel of 20 female students and two<br />
teachers from Mawar Valley, J&K, organised by the Indian<br />
Army for Operation Sadbhavna. The annual educational<br />
tour saw the kids visiting various important places in Delhi,<br />
Chandigarh, Dehradun and Amritsar. They boarded a <strong>Spice</strong>Jet<br />
Boeing from Amritsar to Srinagar. The tour was flagged off by<br />
Commander TMG Brigade from Naugam.<br />
<strong>Spice</strong>Jet adds new flights<br />
and connections with a special<br />
emphasis on Northeast India<br />
Starting October 4, <strong>Spice</strong>Jet will add<br />
new markets such as Silchar, Gorakhpur<br />
and Aizawl. The airline will operate<br />
new flights on sectors such as Kolkata-<br />
Silchar-Guwahati; Kolkata-Aizawl-<br />
Guwahati and Kolkata-Gorakhpur-Delhi.<br />
Kolkata-Visakhapatnam-Kolkata flights<br />
will be effective from November 1.<br />
The airline will offer tickets at an<br />
all-inclusive introductory fare of ` 2,127<br />
for the Kolkaka-Aizawl and ` 1,899 for<br />
the Aizawl-Guwahati sectors; ` 3,699<br />
for the Kolkata-Silchar and ` 4,188 for<br />
the Silchar-Guwahati sectors; and ` 3,210<br />
for the Kolkata-Gorakhpur and ` 3,335<br />
for the Gorakhpur-Delhi sectors. The<br />
new schedule will also include additional<br />
frequencies with a direct flight on its<br />
existing routes of Kolkata-Bagdogra and<br />
Kolkata-Guwahati.<br />
<strong>Spice</strong>Jet flagged off first Hajj <strong>2016</strong> flight from Gaya<br />
<strong>Spice</strong>Jet ushered in India’s Hajj season as it flagged off its first flight dedicated to<br />
the special operation from Gaya. The Airbus 320 carried 135 passengers onboard.<br />
The flag-off ceremony was accomplished by Dr. Abdul Ghafoor, Minister of Minority<br />
Affairs, Bihar; Kumar Ravi, District Magistrate, Gaya; Dilip Kumar, Airport Director,<br />
Gaya Airport; Sumant Rautela, Head of Ground Services, <strong>Spice</strong>Jet, and esteemed<br />
members of the Hajj Committee. <strong>Spice</strong>Jet will carry more than 8,000 pilgrims on<br />
special flights to Mecca from Gaya and Indore.<br />
