HOUSES OF OLD MANALI<br />
JUST 3 KM AWAY FROM MANALI, the popular holiday destination in Himachal<br />
Pradesh, is Old Manali, famous for its orchards. In fact, it was here that the British<br />
first introduced apples, the growth of which later spread all across the region. Old<br />
Manali is also known for its charming bylanes, Manaligarh Fort, innovative cafes,<br />
cherries being sold in paper cups, a temple dedicated to Sage Manu and affordable<br />
guest houses. Lost in all these attractions sometimes is the unique colourful look of<br />
the abodes here. The multi-hue exteriors give a cheerful disposition to the place,<br />
