Bela Gold is PhD in Design, Visual Arts and New Technologies-Universidad
Autónoma Metropolitana, Mexico. M.A in Visual Arts-UNAM-
México. B.A. in Fine Arts from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design,
Jerusalem, Israel. Since 1979, Gold has been a professor/researcher at
the UAM-A in Mexico City. Work included in art collections and museums
in different countries Received more than 10 International awards,
scholarships and grants FONCA, Mexico residence at the Banff Center
for the Arts, and actually awarded with grants as a member of SNCA.
Workinng different media: drawing, intaglio-mixed techniques, neographics,
electronic media, autonomous, conceptual, expanded drawing and printamaking,
electronic embroidery and art-books. Illustrated several magazines, and published books.
Awarded ACADEMIC MERIT MEDAL. Participated in over one hundred solo and group shows.
