Brigitte Lurton was born in 1960 in
Bordeaux countryside, in the middle of
the vineyards.
“As far as I can remember, I have still
been drawing. On my notebooks as a
pupil, then as a student. I have always
wanted to be an illustrator. In the 80’s,
I did not find the art school which would
fit with my desires. So forth, I went on
drawing for myself, but did work in the
wine business, create a boutique hotel,
renewed some beautiful houses. I am
now entirely devoted to drawing, mixing
typefaces with characters born from
my imagination.”
