I have been involved with clay my entire life and
the only thing that rivals my love of ceramics is my
passion for education. Throughout my experiences
in teaching high school math, I realized I could create
my artwork about math and science. This work
is influenced by fractals which can be found in the
world around us. Through my study of mathematics,
I have realized it’s universal. My work strives to
create wonder by showcasing how a simple form
can create something much larger. I am currently
the ceramics professor at Cuesta College in San Luis
Obispo, California, USA.
