Photography is my opening to the world around us. I focus on single subjects that have a story
to tell and might otherwise be overlooked or noticed but remain in our minds for a short time.
My goal is to make these scenes that bring beauty and life to our world permanent objects of
enjoyment through my photographs. My photos are not manipulated, representing the exact
image as I see it through the lens.
Irwin holds a doctorate in social welfare and is Associate Professor in Organizational Leadership
at Wheelock College in Boston. He lives in the beach community of Hull, Massachusetts
with his wife Paula. He has recently developed a passion for photography and has been in a
number of shows winning several awards for his work.
