award-winning, Trompe
L’Oeil artist who specializes
in “fooling the eye”. Using
only oil paint or charcoal, he
often fools viewers with his
painted tape and other realistic
illusions. Lebediker creates
humorous pieces with great
skill, depth and creativity to capture both the eye
and the imagination. “I’ve always been intrigued by
realism. The idea that I can create something to look
so real that it would “fool the eye” compels me. I
think that art should be interactive. It should hold
the viewers attention long enough to make them
question how and why.”
