Wei Yan was born in Beijing,
China 1968. He graduated from
Beijing Normal University Fine
Art department with B.A degree
in 1991. Wei Yan’s art studio
was found in 1995 after he immigrated
in Canada. His work
can be found in public and private
art collection in China and
Canada, and has been seen in
numerous exhibitions both Canada
and China. He is the member
of Portrait Society of Canada,
Portrait Society of America and
Federation of Canadian Artists.
He currently lives and works in
Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
