Benno Sökeland paints what he just comes into his head. Most of his work are figurative and sometimes he works also abstract. You can see it like it is or you can see it in a ironical way – the ambivalence of the view you also can find in his work. The artist defines a position to the world, like it was told in the talmud “You don’t see the world how it is, you see the world how you are“.
