Heike Jaenichen holds a master degree
in Fine Arts at “Burg Giebichenstein”,
Highschool of Art and Design, Halle/
Germany and graduated from the MAcourse
“Professionally Photographic
Practice” at London College of Printing
in 1997. She lives and works in Berlin
since the year 2000. Heike Jaenichen
stays true to the almost old-fashioned
and undervalued craft of analogue
photography; highly skilled, she handprints
her photographs at her on laboratory.
Effortlessly she portrays emotional
depth, elicits intimacy from friends and
strangers.
