Warendorfer Küchen GmbH opened a new showroom in Seoul on May 19, 2007;
the business has gained itself a name as a renowned interior designer on the
South Korean market, an interesting market for refined kitchen furniture.

Since April 12, 2007 Bruno Piatti AG has been certified
in accordance with the standard ISO 14001. As a result
Piatti now has advanced, recognised environment management.
The certificate is awarded to businesses that tackle
their responsibilities in relation to the environment and establish
and document an environment management system in
accordance with the requirements of the international standard
ISO 14001:2004. For the certification, Piatti introduced
Elid Inc., which along with Warendorfer, represents other
international manufacturers of living room, kitchen and bath-
room furniture (including Villeroy & Boch), trades primarily in
the construction industry. Elid furnishes luxurious apartment
blocks. The wealthy private customer is also served. An at-
tractive new showroom in the heart of Seoul is primarily
aimed at this segment. In the kitchen display covering some
200 m 2 , Elid has numerous design examples on show: islands
with integrated lighting under the worktop, convenient tall
unit combinations and shelf units with downlights.

What does Piatti want to achieve in the future?
Analyse Piatti will analyse both the ecological input (petrol/
diesel, electrical power, raw materials, consumables, water,
etc.) as well as the output (factory waste, construction site
waste, ash, noise, etc.).
Set objectives Piatti will prepare a catalogue of specific
measures to obtain measurable improvements, e.g. in relation
to the usage of energy, chemicals or work safety.

Inform Piatti will train and inform specialists and other staff
involved about the management system and integrate the

newspapers, the specialist press, local newspapers
and on the Internet, to win customers, partners and suppliers
for the common objectives.
Document Piatti will collect and add to existing measurement
documents as well as the statutory approvals and
archive them systematically.
