ITU ARI Teknokent and Turkish Automotive Exporters Association support
the projects related to the automotive sector
In 2015, ‘Automotive
Technologies Category’
was opened with cooperation
of ITU ARI Teknokent and
Turkish Automotive Exporters
Association (OIB) at the structure
of ITU Çekirdek. In this scope,
the successful automotive
entrepreneurs - which were
determined by the OIB – are
selected for incubation and
acceleration program and began
to be supported to let the projects
enter into force and transfer to
industry. The entrepreneurs such
as IUGO, Enwair, Garajyeri, RePG
and Parkkolay in the Automotive
Technologies Category obtained
investment incentive worth TL5
million to date.
About the issue, Arzu Eryilmaz,
Director of ITU ARI Teknokent
Marketing and Business
Development, said; “As ITU ARI
Teknokent, we have included
‘Automotive Technologies
Category’ into ITU Çekirdek in
2015. We believe this category
which have constituted with
the cooperation and support
of the OIB will change the
perception of the automotive
sector in Turkey. In a short
time as two years, having won
entrance right to ITU Çekirdek
our 5 entrepreneurs have gotten
investment worth TL5 million.
We can say this success depends
on the visionary support of the
OIB to its respective sector and
improving entrepreneurship
capability of ITO Çekirdek.”

Chairman of the OIB, said; “As
automotive exporters association,
our cooperation with ITU
Çekirdek will provide to set up
awareness and successful startup
firms, we will also support to the
entrepreneurs on the way to
access from project and opinion
stage to industry, will contribute
to our sector. We have aimed
to allow our ideas transform to
industrialize, turn to production
and contribute to our industry
along with this cooperation. We
will pursuit of these projects in
the upcoming period.”
5 enterprises grow with
investments
In this cope, iUGO Teknoloji
which inspects and recover
attitudes of drivers and improves
the automotive technologies
directed towards advanced level
driver support systems, got $400
thousand Turkey’s Angel Investors
via $4,5 million of the company
valuation. With patented new
battery technology Enwair,
which offers solution for quick
finishing battery problem, owned
the investment worth TL275
thousand. As for Garajyeri the
platform of vehicle owners who
want to get additional income
got investment worth $800
thousand within last one year.
As for RePG, which will make a
revolutionary effect for electric
vehicles and electricity needs of
the network, won investment
worth TL740 thousand within
one year. Parkkolay which have
developed a mobile application
in order to solve this problem
got the investment worth TL250
thousand.
