AGES 14-17<br />
YOUNG TRI ACTIVATOR<br />
To provide young people (aged 14-17) with the<br />
opportunity to gain the skills and confidence to<br />
assist in the delivery of triathlon sessions and grow<br />
participation in their local club, school or community<br />
group under direct supervision from an appropriately<br />
qualified coach or teacher.<br />
One day (six hours).<br />

£35 per person.<br />
FURTHER INFORMATION<br />
Those completing the course should have an<br />
appropriate skill set and feel confident to:<br />
Understand key skills that make for an effective,<br />
engaging and fun triathlon activity.<br />
Support a qualified, competent adult in delivering<br />
cycling activities.<br />
Select sensible and effective routes for a variety of<br />
abilities within a youth setting.<br />
Support a qualified, competent adult in delivering<br />
group runs for a variety of abilities, ensuring an<br />
effective, enjoyable and welcoming environment is<br />
established.<br />
Assist on poolside during swims, including but<br />
not limited to setting out of equipment, collection<br />
of training fees, taking registers, helping coaches<br />
with non-technical tasks, starting swimmers off,<br />
assist with timing etc.<br />
