TIMEKEEPER<br />
The Timekeeper award, run by British Swimming, is<br />
an introduction to the world of officiating and is ideal<br />
for young leaders helping at school competitions.<br />
It covers the practical aspects of what is required<br />
of a timekeeper by means of a short theory session<br />
followed by a practical assessment.<br />

SWIM ENGLAND COACHING<br />
CERTIFICATES<br />
These certificates consist of three levels, taking you<br />
from Assistant Coach, to Coach and Senior Coach.<br />
Disciplines covered are:<br />
• Coaching Swimming • Coaching Diving<br />
• Coaching Synchronised Swimming<br />
• Coaching Water Polo<br />
ALL COURSES CAN BE COMPLETED FACE TO FACE<br />
OR AS BLENDED LEARNING WHERE THEORY IS<br />
COVERED ONLINE AHEAD OF PRACTICAL SESSIONS.<br />
The assistant coach courses take four days when done<br />
face to face or you can choose a blended course which<br />
combines six hours’ online learning with two days face<br />
to face.<br />

The assistant coach course costs £350 for a<br />
blended course or £370.<br />

The Level 1 course develops your knowledge, skills<br />
and abilities as a Swimming Assistant, enabling you to<br />
actively support a qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher.<br />
THE LEVEL 1 COURSES TAKE FOUR DAYS WHEN<br />
DONE FACE TO FACE OR YOU CAN CHOOSE A<br />
BLENDED COURSE WHICH COMBINES SIX HOURS’<br />
ONLINE LEARNING WITH TWO DAYS FACE TO FACE.<br />
