KORFBALL ACTIVATOR<br />

AWARD<br />

This course will allow learners to set up and lead safe<br />

and effective Korfball sessions within any environment.<br />

Learners will learn how to:<br />

• Facilitate Korfball activity for adults and young<br />

people.<br />

• Develop, promote and run Korfball activities and<br />

events to ensure high levels of participation.<br />

• Signpost people to participation opportunities in<br />

Korfball.<br />

• Facilitate a fun and safe participation session (meet,<br />

greet, administration, set up/take down equipment,<br />

risk assessment, etc).<br />

• Understand the basic rules of the sport and be able<br />

to undertake basic officiating roles.<br />

• Supervise and set up small group activities.<br />

COACHING KORFBALL<br />

The objective of the England Korfball Level 1 Coaching<br />

Award is to equip learners with the basic individual<br />

skills, techniques and rules of the game to support a<br />

more qualified coach. This course will help learners<br />

to develop their confidence in coaching Korfball,<br />

ensuring that the sessions they deliver are fun,<br />

inclusive and safe.<br />
