TENNIS LEADERS<br />
Tennis Leaders is the first step on the tennis and sport<br />
career pathway for volunteering and, potentially, paid<br />
employment. Tennis Leaders is aimed at 13 years plus<br />
and the content is suitable for pupils and older juniors<br />
just starting out through to adult volunteers.<br />
There are five Tennis Leader modules:<br />
• Introduction to Tennis (3 hours)<br />
• Volunteering at your tennis venue (2 hours)<br />
• Leading a practice session (2 hours)<br />
• Helping at your school (2 hours)<br />
• Helping at a competition (2 hours)<br />
5 MODULES (TOTAL OF 11 HOURS)<br />
Tennis Leaders can be delivered by qualified and active<br />
teachers as well as Licensed and Registered Coaches<br />
(UKCC Level 3 upwards) without the need to go on any<br />
specific training.<br />
COSTING<br />
The Tennis Leader student workbook and tutor<br />
guides can be ordered by coaches and teachers<br />
FREE OF CHARGE through your local LTA<br />
Regional office.<br />
All Tennis Leaders also receive a free t-shirt and<br />
certificates for all of the modules they complete.<br />
