Connection
We have a membership made
up of over 240 companies
covering all areas of the industry,
including: stone suppliers, quarry
operators, heritage specialists,
design consultants, sealant
and adhesive manufacturers,
contractors, technical consultants,
geologists, stone masons and
fixing experts.
Each of our members are vetted
and approved by the Federation
as well as having access to
our range of training courses,
publications, data sheets and
technical helplines to enable

the industry.
Much of what we do involves
working with architects,
designers, specifiers and clients
to connect them with the best
company for the project in hand.
The ‘Search for a Member’ tool
on our website allows users
to narrow down the query
to specific disciplines such as
cladding or conservation, as
well as specifying where the
project is and the type of stone
being used.
Getting the right firm for the
project can be crucial to its
success, and Stone Federation
prides itself on being a resource
that hundreds of leading

We have recently launched a
number of exciting initiatives
aimed at providing an even
greater resource to architects,
designers, clients and specifiers
looking to find the right stone
firm. The Ethical Stone Register
will provide users with a list of
natural stone firms that ensure
that all the materials they sell
are ethically sourced. This
