Make sure you have a towel or your hand below you so you can catch the egg. You
don’t want it to fall on your tiled floor and potentially crack the tile.
Sometimes if your pelvic floor muscles are really strong, you can simply push the
egg down and out by standing with your feet a little wider than hip width apart,
gently bending your knees, and gently pushing down while you breathe.
This is more of an advanced approach though, but you can certainly give it a try as
long as it feels comfortable and doesn’t cause you to strain.
MASCULINE TECHNIQUE (STRING)
If you used a string in your egg, start by squatting as comfortably as possible (get
as low as you can) and try to push with your pelvic floor muscles, like you’re giving
birth. Contract them and relax and release.
If you don’t feel the egg moving, you can gently grab the string and slowly pull
down, while still baring down to push it out.
It’s kind of similar to when you’re constipated and you’re trying to push and bare
down to release the waste from your body.
If you have to pull on the string, go slowly and gently while breathing deeply. Don’t
hold your breath or strain your muscles. Just try to relax in between each push and
let it come out.
Of course, if you can’t feel your muscles pulsing at all, just gently glide the egg out
by slowly pulling it out with the string. Make sure to clean it once you’ve removed
your egg. You can use any of the methods mentioned on cleansing the jade egg.
