Arguably Phuket’s most popular, and
certainly most raucous, beach destination,
Patong Beach is sometimes referred to as
“Bangkok on the beach”. Steady streams
of visitors from a diverse range of locales
around the world come for the Andaman’s

La Flora might be a small property
but they sport a spa, workout room, 2
restaurants (one is rooftop), a beach bar,
concierge/activities desk, and chill out
spots sprinkled around the grounds. The
Surface rooftop restaurant/bar is open
to the public and is a choice sunset spot
with its sublime views over Patong Bay.
Kick back in a bean bag with a fruity
cocktail while parasailers float past in
front of another epic Andaman sunset.
One of the most distinguishing
features of La Flora is that despite it being
only 200 metres from the uninhibited
nightlife to be found at Bangla Road, it is
an oasis of peace and solitude. While you
can relax in the oversized lobby chairs and
watch the world go by on the busy street,
once inside of the resort you are met with
quiet privacy and perhaps a much needed
respite from the bustling city outside.

Finding a comfy

own little slice of Patong Beach and

lounge chair to a shady spot in the sand

great effort to note what your likes and

explains why during the busy season you
