The United Bid enjoys broad support
from political and government officials
throughout North America, along with
business and civic leaders in our
Candidate Host Cities, and hundreds
of communities across Canada,
Mexico, and the United States.
All three federal governments have
committed their support to the United
Bid, confirmed by their completion of
all government guarantees and other
documentation, and reinforced by their
active engagement and support as we
developed our bid submission.
Each of the three governments crafted a
vision statement – included as an appendix to
this Bid Book – that highlights their support for
FIFA’s future vision and commitment to using
the power of football to transform lives and
communities at home and around the world.
In a reflection of the United nature of our
bid, the governments of Canada, Mexico, and
the United States worked together to create
a shared vision that also appears as part
of each of their three visions.
